for the love of pete! celebrates pets and their people in a warm, customer focused atmosphere.
for the love of pete! in Richmond, Va. at "The Avenues on Libbie and Grove" opened in the fall of 2003. Inspired by her beloved rescued pets, owner Maureen Mulligan hopes to enhance the lives of pets and the people who love them. To that end, a portion off all sales are donated to local area animal charities and rescue groups.
Maureen moved to Richmond Va in the summer of 2004 with three rescued cocker spaniels, Tiffany, Scooter, and Rudy. Although they are now in doggie heaven, Maureen rescued three more dogs, Muffin, Bucky, and Ellie Mae. She still has Ellie Mae and Bucky.
